November: snow, snow and then some more snow

Our count down to a successful winter season starts in summer. We always hope for snow to arrive in November and it appears our prayers have been answered. All of Gerlos has been covered in a thick layer of freshies and the snowfall has not come to a complete stop yet. As the white gold keeps pouring down on us, we are looking forward to a great start of this winter season. Have you already booked your ski class in Gerlos?

Last October registered some of the hottest autumn temperatures ever, but this changed quickly over the next month. November launched us into winter and the weather forecast predicts nothing but an amazing season. One meter of snow is forecasted in a lot of places in Austria and of course Gerlos will get it’s share. Because of the high altitude of the village, your winter holidays are guaranteed to snow.

The amount of snow pouring down is unbelievable and we are working hard to get all the slopes ready in time for the season opening on 7th December. Ski course bookings Gerlos in full swing

Because of this invasion of winter, our ski course bookings are in full swing. Not only over the phone, but also online there is a clear increase of demand. We do suggest you book your classes in advance, especially during the Christmas holidays because this traditionally marks one of our busiest times of the year. So if you have already confirmed your holidays in Gerlos, don’t hesitate to book your ski course online.

We cannot wait for the opening of the ski area. Taking the lift up to the top of the snowy mountain, enjoying a smooth descent into the valley over some freshly prepared slopes and ending a perfect day with a drink in one of the après ski bars in the resort. So we’ll see you in Gerlos in December?
